Samantha Hughes - Owner/Decorator

Thank you for visiting!! My name is Samantha Hughes and I am the Owner/Decorator of SJS Designs. I was born and raised in the Hockessin, DE area and I am an Alumni of the University of Delaware.  Although decorating is the passion that I have been able to turn into my career, my first love is my family!  My children are my heart and they have defined purpose for me.  The time I am able to enjoy with my family and friends is what life is all about!  We love spending time working around the house, keeping up our yard, and taking family walks. Spending time at the beach, riding bikes, and making smores by the fire, top the charts of things we love to do together! However, in following my love of decorating, I have found another part of my life that gives me a great sense of purpose; helping people to love their homes!  I feel like my home is my haven, my safe place, my comfort in this crazy world, and that is my wish for everyone to feel!

No matter what your age or style, my goal is to make your space reflect YOU.  I have learned that devoting attention to simply listening to my clients is the key ingredient to my success.  Whether you know exactly what you envision for your space, or if you have no idea where to start, SJS Designs can help you bring it all together!  Our time is priceless, we need to spend it wisely.  Children grow up so fast and days fly by.  Spend time doing something you love while I spend time doing something I love—making YOUR home beautiful!
