At SJS Designs – Decorating Den Interiors, we are every bit as passionate about social advocacy as we are about interior design. As a local business, we prioritize contributing to the health, safety, and well-being of our fellow community members. We are proud to donate to various non-profit organizations who provide resources to the those in need.

Some of the foundations include :

Boys and Girls Club of Delaware – The mission of the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware is to empower the community by raising awareness of breast health issues through outreach, education, and support services, in order to facilitate the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition – The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) is a 501(c)(3) that empowers communities by raising awareness of breast health issues through survivorship support services, outreach, and education, in order to facilitate the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

Down Syndrome Association of Delaware – Founded in 1979, the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware is a statewide non-profit support group. They are a supportive resource, advocating for the acceptance and understanding that allows individuals with Down syndrome to achieve the same level of access and opportunity as their peers.

Faithful Friends of Delaware – Faithful Friends Animal Society was born out of a moral imperative to expose the mass killing of cats and dogs entering Delaware’s publicly funded shelters. For two decades, their advocacy has vastly improved outcomes for shelter animals, saving thousands of easily adoptable, trainable, and treatable pets from certain death.

Food Bank of Delaware – The Food Bank of Delaware distributes millions of pounds of food each year to the community through on-site food pantries, mobile food pantries and a network of hunger-relief partners throughout the state.

Friendship House of Delaware – Friendship House works with people who are experiencing homelessness, houselessness, or both. Their mission is to unite people facing homelessness with loving, supportive communities they can call home.

Habitat for Humanity – Habitat for Humanity preserves homeownership and neighborhoods by building and repairing homes in partnership with people in need of decent, affordable housing in New Castle County.
